Privacy Policy

We built GridRank to be privacy-friendly. This page explains what we collect and why—in plain language.

What we collect

Why we collect it

Ads & measurement

We don’t use Google Analytics. We may show ads via providers such as Google or Amazon. Advertising helps keep GridRank free.

Ad partner controls

We don’t sell personal data. Showing ads may involve limited sharing (e.g., a device identifier or coarse location) with ad partners to deliver and measure ads. In Kids Mode, requests are marked as child-directed and served without personalization.

Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. We don’t store card numbers. We keep purchase records (what you bought, amount, timestamps) as required for accounting, taxes, and fraud prevention.

Cookies & local storage

What others can see

Leaderboards and social features may display your nickname, country flag, and—if you opted in—your age group and gender, along with gameplay stats. We do not display real names, emails, or phone numbers because we don’t collect them.

Children & Kids Mode (Web)

GridRank is a mixed-audience game used by both adults and children. To tailor features for younger players on the web version, we ask for birth year at registration.

Note: Mobile apps will implement platform-specific child-treatment settings and ad flags; this policy will be updated when those apps are released.

International users

Your data may be processed in the United States or other countries where we or our providers operate. We store country for sanctions compliance and rankings.

Changes to this policy

We may update this page as GridRank evolves. We’ll change the “Last updated” date at the top and, for significant changes, provide a notice in the app.
